Extension Projects
The Rio Grande do Norte Minerals Museum has developed projects and other extension actions, some of a continuous, multidisciplinary nature involving the participation of students, employees and the community outside the IFRN in order to bring the museum and its services closer to the external community.
These were the extension projects carried out by the MMRN over the years:
2017
- The Puppet Theater at the Rio Grande do Norte Minerals Museum.
2018
- Training of professionals to act as guides in limestone caves.
- Use of mineral and rock kits to help teach geosciences in elementary school.
- DIARENLOGANDO: taking DIAREN (Academic Directorate of Natural Resources) to public schools in Natal -RN.
- The Puppet Theater at the Rio Grande do Norte Minerals Museum.
2019
- Education and inclusion in traveling exhibitions at the Rio Grande do Norte Minerals Museum.
- The Puppet Theater at the Rio Grande do Norte Minerals Museum.
2020
- The New Technologies of Information and Communication Applied to the Teaching of Geosciences.
- Radioactive minerals from Pegmatito dos Quintos, municipality of Parelhas/RN.
- Geodiversity in the municipality of Barcelona-RN.
- Delimitation of the degree of risk of access to caves in the municipality of Jandaíra/RN.
